Star Mudroom & Laundry Cabinetry
A representative project in the hardest-working rooms of a home: a connected mudroom and laundry, built as real cabinetry sized to an active Treasure Valley household.

A representative capability piece — it illustrates the materials, construction, and design approach we bring to this kind of project, not a photograph of a specific past client’s home.
The concept
The entry from the garage and the laundry often sit side by side and share the job of keeping a household organized. This piece treats them as one connected space: a mudroom with a locker per person and a bench flowing into a laundry room built to actually work.
How we build it
Durable plywood cases and wipe-clean painted finishes stand up to ski gear, mud, and daily wear. Open cubbies let wet gear dry, hooks are set at adult and child heights, and the laundry side gets a folding counter over the machines, a hanging rod, and pull-out hampers so sorting is part of the cabinetry.
Details that matter
A bench with hidden boot storage, a tall cabinet for the vacuum and broom, and a charging spot for phones and headlamps turn a good-looking space into one that genuinely manages an active home. Finished to match the rest of the house, it reads as intentional rather than an afterthought by the garage.
